In November of 2010, Spook harvested this massive buck on his Spook Nation Farm in Iowa. Spook rough scored this deer at 193" gross!

Ohio State

Check out my Heisman Trophy (I wish!).  Most of these babies are kept under glass, but I got my hands on this one a week or two ago when we went to the Ohio State - Minnesota game. I was going on a hunt with Brian Offutt with Under Armour and Capt. Chad Fleming. Chad is a wounded veteran and was invited to speak to the team before the game. We spent most of Saturday on the sideline and in the locker room with the team. 

Now ya'll know that I'm a dedicated SEC fan but I've got to hand it to the folks at OSU, they welcomed us like we were part of the team. Chad gave an awesome speech that really motivated the team and gave me a greater appreciation for all the things that our soldiers sacrifice for us. Thanks to all the staff at Ohio State, Coach Tressel, Brian, and most of all thank you Chad for your service to your country.

Awesome 12 Point

Spook strikes again. Spook downed this brute this afternoon in the rain! It's an extraordinary deer that has six points on his right side including one inline point near his G-3, and five points on the other side. We haven't scored him yet but Spook's guessing him in the high 160's maybe even close to 170! We'll keep you posted on what he turns out to be. But for now, we're packing up to head to Ohio where we will be hunting with a military veteran and some of the Under Armour guys. Oh yeah, we get to go to the Ohio State game Saturday too!
